Prince of Legend [dropped]

Peace! ✌

Hi! The English subs for Prince of Legend are already available on dailymotion site (without released the first episode). I just asked the subber about this, and he (Rjgman56) intends to sub the all of episodes. I thought it in the right hands. I'm sorry, you have been waiting so long. Sometimes we are impatient for the subs of our favorites dramas xD. These days, my laptop is out off work and currently on service. While I was subbing Liverleaf it already had any errors and issues. And I was trying to make it with my handphone (I used "Subcake" app) and it was like hell, seriously. In other reason, I need to re-time the timed subs, and of course it made all became more difficult lol. And for a POL, I'm currently working half of it (57% of episode 2 used Subcake, and I gave up then waiting for my laptop getting back to continue it lol), eventhough I'm so busy with my school days (yeah, actually I'm just a kid lol), I always put my time on it, and being struggled cause it haven't finished lol. I'm sorry I have to drop it. I don't want to work on something that someone else is working too. I have to appreciate the others works. I don't want to duplicate. It will waste my times and all efforts if I also working on it. I do prefer pick up something else, actually, there are a bunch of dramas that haven't had the subtitles yet. And thanks to mikushine for being my timer and put the hard work and helped me. You did well. ^ ^

[ENGLISH SUB] Liverleaf 2018

When liverleaf couldn't bear the harsh winter anymore, at that time the white snow covered by red blood

Synopsis:

In “Liverleaf,” there’s a whole gang of them: pupils at a rural middle school on the brink of closure, who’ve been finding ever more vicious ways to torment a recently arrived transfer student, Haruka (Anna Yamada). The bullies are keen to curry favor with the class’s honey-blonde queen bee, Taeko (Rinka Otani), who was briefly friends with the new arrival, but now affects a bored disdain while tacitly encouraging her abusers.

Haruka’s sole friend is another transfer student, Mitsuru Aiba (Hiroya Shimizu). A handsome loner, he spends his free time photographing the local flora, including the eponymous liverleaf — a hardy wildflower that endures the winter snows and blooms with the arrival of spring. Whether any of the class will still be alive by then, though, is another question.

After contenting themselves with grisly pranks like stuffing a dead crow into Haruka’s desk, the bullies ramp things up a few thousand notches by burning her house down, while her family is still inside. Soon enough, their victim has morphed into an angel of vengeance, stalking the winter landscape like a pint-size version of Meiko Kaji’s character in “Lady Snowblood.”

This lurid nonsense — as if it wasn’t obvious by now — is adapted from a manga. Rensuke Oshikiri’s “Liverleaf” (known as “Misu Misou” in Japanese) was a relentlessly bleak tale that seems to have acquired a cult reputation mostly by virtue of its nastiness. Working from a script by Miako Tadano, Naito sticks closely to the original story, though occasionally allows a glimmer of humanity to penetrate the stifling, stylized gloom.

He shows particular fidelity in depicting the various ways characters are stabbed, sliced and shot, which tells you a lot about the audience that he’s trying to satisfy here. To describe the film’s violence as cartoonish would probably be taken as a compliment. There’s a palpable joy in the schlocky prosthetics and cascades of blood, and they’re the closest “Liverleaf” gets to demonstrating a sense of humor.

Oshikiri’s manga wasn’t the most nuanced tale to begin with, and Naito’s cast occasionally transcends the thinly defined characters. Rena Otsuka is a standout as Rumi, a victimized student who joins — and dramatically escalates — the bullying campaign in order to avoid becoming a target herself. Though her early scenes are overly mannered, Otsuka succeeds in humanizing a character that in the original was little more than a grotesque.

The film also presents Taeko in a slightly more sympathetic light, suggesting that there may have been a different way of telling the story, focusing more on the relationship between Haruka and the architect of her misery. A hushed, dreamlike sequence in which Taeko rides the bus while quietly singing along to a CD “borrowed” from her former friend’s collection lingers longer than any of the film’s bloodbaths.

This is one manga adaptation that would have benefitted from taking greater liberties with its source material. “Liverleaf” is Naito’s most technically accomplished work to date, but it could’ve used a little more soul. (japantimes)

[ENGLISH SUBS] Mirai-San Episode 02

The unfashionable's Mirai doesn't want to work.

Hi! This series going well, I'm excited. Mirai (Non) was so mischievous and impolite, made many troubles and messing around, that's annoyed me (lol ) but she's still so cute and I do love her. I've felt so happy that she comes back, even it's just a mini-drama, step by step, day by day, she is going to come up to the surface. I think she will do something great in the future.

Hi!

I just finished watching this one. The first episode of Prince of Legend. Haha so funny. I meant, not really that funny like what comedy drama used to be (lol) It's romance-comedy, though.

Yeah, the directors who are in charge, the duo of Hayato Kawai (Let's go jet, Oniichan Gacha, Anikoma, Ore Monogatari, Kinkyori Renai, Nisekoi, etc) and Kentaro Moriya (Sprout, Shiritsu Bakelaya Koukou, Kamen Teacher), we should be know how the story will flow. When I watched it, yeah so similar  (lol)

Since, there's no subtitle for this, I just added it while I watching (lol)

I don't know, but I think LDH fans willing to sub it. Hopefully ^ ^

Or maybe, after I finished with all of my ongoing subs and no one picks this one. I think it's fun to sub it, but I'm not really sure, it hasn't had Japanese subs. I've already experienced subbing movies and dramas without Japanese subs and timing it from zero, it's a hell, it was killing me (lol). If you're interested we can do collab hehe ^ ^"

[ENGLISH SUBS] Marmalade Boy 2018

If only I knew it was already subbed, I'll stop it right away.

I'm sorry I took it too long  ^ ^

But I got an email from someone. (S)He asked me to send this softsubbed that S(He) says want to re-translate it. Then I decided to upload it here. I'm sorry I have to upload my own version for his/her orders.

Synopsis:

Miki Koishikawa is a high school student  who enjoys a very simple life. However, her ordinary life is about to be  turned upside down, and she may not be able to handle everything that  is coming her way.

After a very "fun" holiday in Hawaii, her parents have decided to get a  divorce. As if this wasn’t enough of a shock for the poor girl, she also  discovers that they will soon be re-marrying and swapping partners with  another couple who they met on holiday. In order to include Miki in  this shocking turn of events, they ask her to give the new couple a  chance, and set up a dinner date with everyone. Miki may have tried to  be emotionally prepared for her new parents, but what she was not  expecting was their handsome son Matsuura Yuu.

Miki develops an instant crush for Yuu. What starts off as a lovely  friendship between them soon develops into romantic feelings which they  are both finding hard to control. But more trouble is ahead in their  relationship, as both Miki and Yuu have admirers of their own who are  trying very hard to keep them separated.
